Hillary?

I have never done this before in my life, but I am considering changing my voter registration from Republican to Democrat just for the primary to vote for Hillary...

Ahhhhhhh . . . .WTF ? ? ?

Not sure I clearly follow your line of thinking. Is it to meet the bias our esteemed Governor Rendell says exists for the black candidate, or because you feel that Hillary has "lots more experience" from her years as first lady (embarrassing, but her claim) or because you feel she would be a better candidate for John McCain/Condi Rice (my proposed ticket) to run against

I anxiously await your retort . . . . . .

Ben

Re: Ahhhhhhh . . . .WTF ? ? ?

I want to see the Democratic candidates fight between themselves all the way up to their convention. A vote for Hillary will help prolong their internal struggle. I would never vote for Hillary in November...

And why not meddle in their primary. Democrats meddled in ours in New Hampshire and other states. That is how we got stuck with John McCain.

I have until March 24 to become a Democrat.

"OK, now I see your thought process. And my desire that he select Condi Rice ? No comment ?

My resoning is best described in several excerpts from a recent New Yorker Magazine commentary:

Rice is already fourth in line for the Presidency, and getting bumped up three places would be a shorter leap than any of the three Presidential candidates propose to make. "

"Choosing Rice would be a trick. Her failures would be buried in an avalanche of positive publicity for a personal story as yet only vaguely known to the broad public."

"Her ascension, though nowhere near as momentous a breakthrough as the election of Obama or Clinton, would be a breakthrough all the same. In this connection, a kind word for George W. Bush may be in order. By appointing first Colin Powell and then Rice to the most senior job in the Cabinet, a job of global scope, Bush changed the way millions of white Americans think about black public officials."

Re: Ahhhhhhh . . . .WTF ? ? ?

Worth considering. We would see the left wing media freak out and try to rip her to shreds. After all, her being republican completely negates her being a black woman in their racist eyes...

Re: Ahhhhhhh . . . .WTF ? ? ?

One of my buddies is arguing that I should vote for Obama so he has a sufficient lead to cause the most discontent when Hillary steals the nomination from him...
