My brakes started pulsing weirdly yesterday, so I planned to take my Escape into the shop this morning. Yesterday I called a local repair shop I had used before on short notice, and asked if they could take me this morning. They said bring it in when they open at 9am.Having taken my vehicle to this place at opening time on a weekend day, I did not expect any hitches. I arrived at 8:45 am expecting to wait for 15 minutes and then be first in line for the day. When I arrived, the place was pretty busy for not being open for another 15 minutes. There were mechanics working on cars and people waiting in the waiting room. I said to the clerk that the place was pretty busy for still being closed. He said they opened early because he had seven cars held over from Saturday. Grrrrrrrrrr.

Thanks to the BH car leasing agency and PH/LL taxi service, I have a temporary car to use until mine is fixed.


Update: Vessel back in my control. I am poorer.
